No one thought an important battle of the “War on Terror” would be fought here in Concord, Massachusetts, but drifting in the clear cool water of Walden Pond with gentle waves washing over him David knew it wouldn’t last. His ears dipped below the surface as water sloshed over his face and gurgles alternated with the splashing sounds of children playing offshore. Rays of sunlight flashed when he peeked at the sky. He loved drifting around the lake for hours in a soft, half-inflated raft that buoyed him at the surface. It was the dreamiest, most comforting feeling, David lived for it; except for the face his whole body was loosely wrapped inside the half-inflated raft and floated around cool and cozy just beneath the surface, drifting that way for hours, womb-like perhaps. It felt even better and better the longer he drifted, his perfect natural escape. He pictured all the joyful children frolicking in the water as thoughts flowed to more pleasurable sensations and wild sex with that exotic beauty he lusted for back on the main beach.
